Health and Safety First and Foremost

Richard P · HSE Manager · Nationwide Contract

Cleaner and safer commercial kitchen environment maintained by Bright cleaning team.
Richard P • HSE Manager • Nationwide Contract

The challenge

The contract provides catering support to sites based in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and England, culminating in 65 catering facilities. All mandatory deep cleans must be completed annually and ad hoc, with heavy financial penalties within the annual timespan if these tasks fail as a service delivery.

Over the previous two years, 10 of these sites had also been supporting extremely important operations with additional temporary facilities put in place, requiring frequent deep cleans at client request. The scale, geographic spread, and operational sensitivity of the contract demanded a service provider capable of consistent, penalty-free delivery.

Our approach

Bright Hygiene supported this UK-wide contract with regional teams, meticulous planning, and a proactive, flexible approach. For the additional temporary facilities, Bright adapted quickly to support frequent deep cleans as required.

On multiple occasions, Bright were called upon to go above and beyond their normal contractual service, assisting other Hard FM contracts at short notice, supporting fast-moving contracts in England and Wales, and recently activating a site based in Scotland that mobilised within just two weeks.

The result

In 12 years of partnership, not a single KPI has been raised against the contract, a result of not just meticulous planning but having a service provider that is proactive, flexible, and able to amend, test, and adjust at any last-minute request.

Bright Hygiene Services play a critical role in this contract, and the HSE Manager describes the relationships built over the years as making Bright a supplier that is second to none.
