Once the architects, installers and builders have completed a site, it is often left with dust and debris covering every surface. Before the site is fit for use, a builder’s clean (or sparkle clean) is carried out to remove this detritus, using nonabrasive chemicals and surface sensitive materials. Dust will often pool on surfaces, in crevices, underneath T sections of suspended ceilings and anywhere that it may be electrostatically attracted to.
A builder’s clean should be scheduled shortly before or after official handover, once all “fixes” have been completed and as close to opening as possible, to allow for the dust circulating in the air to settle.
A builder’s clean carried out by Bright Hygiene will sanitise the surfaces, so they can be used immediately after service; a full certificate will be provided.
